FAQ
What kind of paint do you use?
We use non-toxic, odorless acrylic paints that dry quickly, allowing for Janet to paint multiple layers.
Do you interact with the guests?
YES! Guests are encouraged to ask questions and if they are brave, can even add some strokes to the painting.
When is the painting completed?
LIVE event artwork commissions may be completed and given to the client at the end of the evening. Some may require final details and touch-ups at the studio. An optional protective varnish can also be applied.
How does the process work?
I will bring an easel and drop cloth. A 5’x5’ area is sufficient to work in. A nearby outlet is great to plug in my light.
I work with the client ahead of time to choose the ideal setting and elements desired. I arrive well before the guests to start the background of the painting. I paint during the event and then either deliver at the end of the event or retouch at my studio.
What other types of art do you offer?
I do a variety of art from charcoal drawings to mixed media portraits. I also offer graphic design and calligraphy!
What's the investment?
You'll treasure these paintings for a lifetime! What a beautiful way to creatively capture the emotions of your event. A 16 x 20 canvas starts at $1600 (ask about our specials). A larger canvas allows for greater details.
